The Joshua L. Anderson Memorial Foundation was created in 1992 to award scholarships to deserving student/athlete graduates from high schools in Northern Nevada.

Since inception 31 years ago, the Foundation has awarded three hundred and sixty five (365) scholarships to students from thirty four different Northern Nevada high schools.  The Foundation expects to award 13 additional scholarships in 2024.

Each scholarship is a $5,000 award.  Recipients will receive their $5,000 scholarship at the start of their freshman year of college. Recipients will need to provide proof of enrollment before receiving scholarships.  (Click here to review all Scholarship Rules & Regulations.)

Good, hardworking, ambitious student/athletes having participated in a high school baseball or softball program are encouraged to apply.  Scholarships are based upon the applicant’s financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, participation in a high school baseball or softball program and a strong desire to earn a college education.

Completed applications must be submitted online or postmarked no later than April 5, 2024 and mailed to:
